A beautiful Anetoceras Heteromorph Ammonite, prepared free of matrix. It is standing on the original matrix used as a base. These are normally prepared flat on the matrix in which they are discovered, so this one is exceptional. It dates from the Devonian Period, 380 million years old. Wonderful display fossil.
